Our internet is extremely spotty down here and it doesn't want to let me upload some of my posts. It's very frustrating but I'm trying my best to post them! Today our kind donors, Dana and Martha, are taking us out on their boat and we're going snorkelling!!

We made it! We're in St. John and it is beyond beautiful! We left this morning from Des Moines airport at 6am, flew to Atlanta and had a 3 hour layover, then flew from there to St. Thomas were we took a ferry to St. John! I found out today that taxi drivers are crazy, or maybe thats just St. Thomas drivers in general. Once we unloaded on the island we all went out to eat and I had the best ice cream everrr made with a fresh waffke cone! Yummmy!

Hey there! My name is Anna and I am traveling to St. John in the US Virgin Islands for 2 months! I, along with 3 other students, were accepted into an internship with the EARTH program. On St. John I will be conducting a few lessons at a local school on the island and completing an individual project all while working on my tan. I created this blog to better share with friends and family what I am up to down there. I am extremely excited to start this adventure and can't wait to share it with you!
